Formless Void Fist 无极拳:
Formless Void Fist was an ancient boxing practised by Taoist practitioners. The highest level of this boxing is being natural. It looks as though there are fixed patterns, certain forms, defined techniques or methods. In reality, to reach the highest state is not to be constrained by such fixed forms
无极拳为道家修练的古拳法,以自然为最高境界。拳中有法,法中有拳,拳无定拳,而法无定法,无拳无法乃为真拳真法。




Qi Ji Guang 32 Forms 戚继光32式:
The style of Taiji Quan is generally attributed to the style that was developed by Qi Ji Guang (1528-1587), a famous army general in the imperial army during the period of the Ming Dynasty. Being a skilled and knowledgeable martial artist himself, Qi developed the Qi style Chang Quan 32 forms.
明朝末年倭寇作乱於福建沿海一带,中央政府派山东蓬莱将军戚继光南下平乱。戚继光文武双全,尤精通武艺,他取自当下十六种拳法,每种拳法只吸收二招精练手法创编了戚氏三十二式长拳作为训练民兵的规定套路,每年二次考核,在他严格的训练下,终于逐出了日寇,平了乱事。陈式太极拳之创始人陈王庭乃清末武将,吸取戚氏长拳三十二式之二十九式,编创了陈式太极拳,成为陈,杨,吴,孙,武五个流派太极之先锋,流传至今,贡献良多。




Ba Gua Taiji Fist (Passed down by Grand Master Ma Yong Sheng)
八卦太极拳(马永胜大师所传):

Bagua taiji quan was introduced by Grand Master Ma Yong Sheng of National Central Martial Arts Association, Nanjing China in the 1940's. The then Chairman of the Association Zhang Zhi Jiang was the first to learn this taiji quan.
It was a compulsory subject of the National Central Martial Arts Association, Nanjing China and many universities. The learning of Bagua Taiji Quan was lost in the subsequent wars.
Involving eight directions, this Bagua Taiji Quan has 96 movements without repetitions. Comprising of three series, its movements seem ever-changing and are beautiful. A rare form to be treasured.
八卦太极拳是中国40年代南京国立中央国术馆马永胜大师所推广的集精华于一身的太极拳。馆长张之江乃第一位修学者。 八卦太极拳在当时被列为南京中央国术馆与中国数间大学之必修科,后因战乱趋以失传。此拳以八卦的方位演练,共96式而无一重复。­演式分上中下三路,千变万化,美不胜收,是一套优秀的太极拳,爱之,惜之,珍之。




Wudang Taiji Fist 108 Forms 武当太­极拳108式:
Legend has it that Emperor Xuan Di transmitted a set of martial arts skills to Zhang San Feng of Song Dynasty in a dream. Zhang later developed it into the famous 13 Form Taiji. The present 108 Form is the result of its improvement and further development over many dynasties.
传说玄帝于夜梦授宋朝武当丹士张三丰拳法,张以之编创了著名《太极十三式》。后经数朝代的发展与揉合,演变出今之108式武当太­极拳。

Master Ngiam demonstrates part of the Chen Style Taiji Hunyuan methods.
陈式太极缠丝功,为陈式太极之关节螺旋缠丝功法由头,肩,肘,手,胸,腹,腰,胯,膝等等部位的训练法。九曲珠十八关节处处疏通,节节贯串,不僵死,不断劲,连环一体。受则处处松开,不受力,发则节节贯串, 缠丝螺旋迫进,一气呵成。严师傅演示部分混元缠丝功。

This routine originated from Grand Master Feng Zhi Qiang. Master Ngiam Tong Kheng learnt it from Grand Master Feng in Beijing in 1983. Typical characteristics of Chen Style Taiji Quan are clearly demonstrated: Coiling movement initiated by the waists, firmness within gentleness, slow and fast movement alternating. Practical application are emphasized. A fine selection indeed.
这个陈式太极拳精选套路48式是严师傅于1983年在北京向冯大师学的。以缠丝劲为主,实用为本,­刚柔并济,快慢相间,蓄发相变,是一套不可多得的太极拳。
